Antonio Fuoco, born in Cariati, Italy, kicked off 2024 with a spectacular victory at Le Mans, driving for Ferrari and marking a pinnacle in his already illustrious motorsport career. This triumph underscores his exceptional skill and determination, attributes that have characterized his journey from the beginning. At the tender age of four, Antonio embarked on his racing career in karts, swiftly ascending through the competitive ranks of Formula Renault, Formula 3, and Formula 2. Antonio first showcased his potential in 2012, achieving notable podium finishes in the WSK Euro Series and the CIK-FIA European KF2 Championship. His success continued in 2013 when he debuted in single-seater racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps, where he secured wins at Vallelunga, Imola, Monza, and Mugello. His outstanding performances earned him a spot in the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy. In 2014, Antonio transitioned to European Formula 3 with the Prema Powerteam, claiming victories at Silverstone and Spielberg and amassing ten podium finishes. His ascent in motorsport continued in 2015 with multiple podiums in GP3 with Carlin Motorsport and a memorable opportunity to test drive a Formula 1 car for Ferrari. The move to Trident Motorsport in 2016 resulted in numerous wins and an advancement to Formula 2 in 2017 where Antonio rejoined Prema Racing and continued to deliver electrifying victories at iconic tracks such as Monza, Monaco, and Abu Dhabi. His career then took an exciting turn as he became a Scuderia Ferrari test driver and explored GT racing, winning the Italian Pro-Am class title with AF Corse's 488 GT3. Between 2020 and 2022, Antonio demonstrated his versatility and competitive spirit in the Italian GT Championship and the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship. He secured a significant victory in the LMGTE Am class at the 8 Hours of Portimão and continued to excel in the GT World Challenge Europe. The highlight of 2024, his Hypercar victory at Le Mans, is a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence and ability to perform under intense pressure.
